What inspired you to pursue your current career path?
I have always been a writer, since I was a child, making up stories of my own. Now, I write stories and articles for other people. I just enjoy being able to put my thoughts on paper (now on electronics) for others to read. I also went to college and got my Master's degree in business and psychology, but stuck to writing rather than practicing.

What does a typical day look like in your role?
I get up early, eat breakfast, and work on the computer writing and editing until lunch. Then, I spend some time with my retired husband before going back to work for a few hours. After dinner, I quit working for the day to spend time with my husband.

Which skills have been most valuable to your success?
The research work I learned in college has taught me the most. I know how to find almost anything now, and I still have access to some college libraries. The fact that I love doing the research also helps, but I tend to get lost in the internet when it is something interesting, so I may take more time than I should.

What trends are shaping your industry right now?
In my opinion, there is too much AI. I have lost several jobs because AI is cheaper and faster. It has really affected the business.

What advice would you give to someone just starting out?
Always do your best whether it is a small, inexpensive job or a huge, high-paying job. I always make sure my work is the best it can be no matter who it is for and what I am getting paid. Even if I hate the work. I will do it the best I can.
