Indira Yeleswarapu, Cofounder of Career Bridge Studios, is a career coach and resume strategist dedicated to helping professionals tell their stories with confidence and clarity. After years in HR and technical recruitment, she saw firsthand how many talented people struggled to communicate their true value - a realization that inspired her to launch her own coaching journey. In this interview, Indira shares how empathy, storytelling, and purpose drive her work, her insights on balancing entrepreneurship and motherhood, and her vision for a more human-centered future in career development.

  1. What inspired you to pursue your current career path?

During my years as an HR Manager and Technical Recruiter, I went through hundreds of resumes a day and realized how many talented people struggled to express their true value. After my maternity break, I knew my heart was in helping others present their stories with confidence. That’s how my journey as a Career Coach and Resume Strategist began - turning career journeys into stories that get noticed, trusted, and hired.

  2. What lesson from your first job still guides you today?

What still guides me today is the belief that success is built on consistency, integrity, and effort. My first job taught me to show up with purpose, take ownership, and always deliver my best - values that continue to shape how I work and how I coach others to reach their potential.

  3. What’s one challenge you’ve successfully overcome recently?

One of the biggest challenges I’ve overcome recently is balancing entrepreneurship and motherhood while growing my career coaching business. Managing clients, creativity, and family all at once pushed me to redefine productivity - not as doing more, but doing what truly matters. It taught me resilience, focus, and the power of trusting my own pace while still delivering excellence.

  4. Which skills have been most valuable to your success?

The most valuable skills that have shaped my success are empathy, strategic thinking, and storytelling. Empathy helps me understand people beyond their resumes, strategy helps me position them for success, and storytelling allows me to turn their experiences into powerful, results-driven narratives that get noticed and hired.

  5. How do you see your profession evolving in the next few years?

I see the resume writing and career coaching profession evolving into a more AI-integrated, strategy-driven, and human-centered space. Technology will handle formatting and keyword optimization, while the real value will come from personal branding, emotional intelligence, and authentic storytelling. The future of this field lies in helping people connect their purpose to their profession - and that’s where I see myself continuing to make an impact.

  6. What values guide your decision-making at work?

I’ve helped people who lost their jobs during tough economic times. It wasn’t something I planned - I just felt the need to step in and help, even if it meant doing it for free. I never looked back, because that moment reminded me why I chose this path: to help people find hope, confidence, and direction when they need it most. It turned out to be the best decision I ever made. It taught me that credibility and trust are the true cornerstones of my business. When you lead with honesty, empathy, and purpose, people remember you - not just for your work, but for how you made them feel.

  7. What accomplishment are you most proud of?

One accomplishment I’m most proud of is helping a young woman who was struggling with her resume for months after a long career break. I completely rebuilt her story with the right strategy and positioning, and she landed a Product Manager role at PwC.

  8. What are you most excited about in the next stage of your career?

I’m most excited about expanding beyond one-on-one services and building career products that help more people at scale - tools and programs focused on resume building, interview preparation, and career coaching. Helping more individuals gain confidence and clarity in their professional journeys is the next exciting chapter for me.
